Tickle, Tickle! “Gargalese” Premieres in Chicago!

Who knew that the Tickle Monster had alien lineage? What will happen to Earth’s ticklish inhabitants?
First-time writer/director, Dean Millermon, brings the Tickle Monster to life in this campy, horror/sci-fi short film that features not one, not two, but three variations of the Tickle Monster! Produced by Laura Szymber and Brian Kallies, “Gargalese” was shot over four days in Elgin and Huntley, IL.
Special effects were provided by the Acme Design team and Special Effects artist, Bill Wieger, who has worked on such well-known films as “Species”, “Titantic”, and “Space Truckers”.
Jason Seed composed the original soundtrack which was performed by the talented classical group, the Gentlement of NUCO. The soundtrack was produced by Dave Suycott and engineered by Kendall Stephens at Rax Trax.
Thrilling performances were provided by a Chicago cast including; Tierza Scaccia, Mack Perry, Dana Gasser, Megan Hincks and Dave Hunter.
“Gargalese” will premiere in Chicago at the Portage Theater on Saturday, April 4th and will screen between two well-loved classic horror movies: “Nosferatu” and “Brides of Dracula”. The movie event begins at 7pm, “Gargalese” will screen at 8:45pm.
